I thought I’d be cleaning vomit all night… nope

Everyone warns you about how brutal the sickness phase is.

The daycare germs.

The sleepless nights.

The absolute chaos of trying to keep a tiny human alive while they’re falling apart.

And yes… some of that is very real.

But what nobody really prepares you for is the moment it changes.

When your kid can actually tell you what’s wrong.

When they understand what you’re asking.

When you’re suddenly not guessing your way through it anymore.

This was one of those moments and I genuinely could not believe what was happening.

This podcast was recorded on the lands of the Wangal people, of the Eora Nation.
